Hair Policies

Welcome to Little Shop of Beauty Niagara! We're thrilled that you're considering booking an appointment with us or that you've already secured one. We eagerly await the opportunity to meet you for the first time or welcome you back. To ensure the delivery of exceptional services and to enable our staff to prepare adequately, we kindly ask that you review this page alongside our Cancellation Policy provided below.

Consultations

Every appointment at our salon kicks off with a complimentary consultation before your chosen service. Our consultations prioritize transparency, providing you with clear insights into what can be achieved in a single session or over multiple sessions.

We encourage realistic expectations, and our team is here to guide you in managing them. Our seasoned professionals offer their expert advice on what's attainable for your unique needs. Should the consultation reveal that your hair history, including past use of box dyes, perms, straightening, etc., might affect the desired results, we'll collaborate with you on suitable solutions. In instances where the envisioned outcomes may not align, we may regretfully decline the service in your best interest. Our primary concern is your hair's health and your satisfaction. If a service entails a certain degree of risk and you decide to proceed, provided your stylist agrees, you might be requested to sign a waiver that releases Fifteen Twelve and our staff from any liability pertaining to the requested service.

Should you prefer a comprehensive standalone hair assessment before your scheduled appointment, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for scheduling. Standalone consultations must be arranged through our front desk.

Arriving For Your Appointment

Hair Cleanliness

To facilitate accurate color assessment and ensure the best results during the coloring process, we recommend arriving with hair washed within the past two days.

Punctuality

Kindly arrive on time for your appointment or no earlier than 10 minutes ahead of schedule. This consideration allows us to complete services for prior clients, sanitize our space, and maintain a serene ambiance.

Considerations and Policies

To safeguard the well-being of all parties involved, please adhere to the following policies:

Health Condition: If you or anyone you've been in contact with within the past 7 days displays cold symptoms, a sore throat, or general unwellness, we kindly request that you refrain from entering our salon.

48-Hour Cancellation Policy

Recognizing that unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes to your appointment, we kindly ask that you notify us of any cancellations or rescheduling no less than 48 hours before your scheduled reservation. This allows us to honor both our valued guests' and dedicated staff's time. Appointments canceled within less than 48 hours of the scheduled service will result in a loss of a $50 deposit.

No Call, No Show Policy

We prioritize respecting everyone's time and maintaining the highest level of service quality. A "No Call, No Show" appointment is when a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice.

Policy Consequences:

1. Loss of Deposit: For a No Call, No Show, the $50 deposit will be forfeited.

2. Future Bookings: Following a No Call, No Show, all future appointments will require a 50% upfront payment of the service fee.

Hair Extensions Policy

For the convenience of our hair extensions services, we've implemented a policy that necessitates full payment at the time of ordering and prior to installation. This practice ensures a seamless experience for all parties involved.

Non-Refundable $50 Deposit

To secure your booking, we require a non-refundable deposit of $50 upon scheduling. This deposit contributes to guaranteeing your appointment and enhancing the quality of service delivery.

Zero Tolerance

Our salon maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards non-inclusive behavior, disrespect, or inappropriate conduct. This policy extends to interactions with our staff, fellow clients, or any individuals present within our premises. Non-inclusive behavior includes but isn't limited to racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, xenophobia, and ableism. If such behavior is observed, we will request immediate cessation and may find it necessary to ask the involved individual to vacate the premises.

Additional Guests

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing additional guests to your appointment without prior arrangement. Only individuals listed on our schedule will be granted entry to the salon. If you intend to bring a guest, please inform your service provider beforehand to secure approval.

Children

While we understand there may be instances where you need to bring a child to your appointment, please exercise caution due to the potential risks associated with our tools and chemicals. Children must be supervised by adults at all times to ensure their safety.
